Jim McLoughlin has served as Executive Director at every level within organizational golf; e.g. the NY Metropolitan Golf Association (MGA), the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), and the Metropolitan Golf Course Superintendents Association (MetGCSA).

Jim has presented summer courses of study at the Harvard Graduate School, wrote a career-planning column for Golf Course Industry magazine for five years, and provides golf course development and counseling services to the national and international communities through his firm, TMG Golf.

He has been lecturing for 25+ years on the subject of “Strategic Career Planning” for golf course superintendents at regional turf expos and GCSAA chapter events, including presenting four-hour career planning workshops at recent Golf Industry Show events.
