What's Behind StabilizedNitrogen Technology?
Research shows that at least 30% of the nitrogen from urea can be lost into the atmosphere through volatilization, often within days of application. Plus, additional nitrogen loss can occur through leaching and denitrification.
UMAXX StabilizedNitrogen Fertilizer contains a unique inhibitor that blocks urease (an enzyme present in the soil) for up to two weeks. This helps minimize nitrogen loss to the atmosphere and provides time for rainfall and irrigation to effectively transport StabilizedNitrogen to the root zone for plant utilization. UMAXX also contains a nitrogen stabilizer with urea that reduces nitrogen loss due to leaching and denitrification.
