  • Iron Horse Trader is an online auction marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of pre-owned equipment for golf courses, sports fields, or any other large turf areas that require large commerical maintenance equipment. Buyers and sellers on this website are typically golf course superintendents, sports field managers, facility administrators, public works managers, as well as new and used turf maintnenance equipment dealers.

Old equipment is eventually replaced with a newer models over time. The old equipment is usually used as a trade-in to off-set the cost of the new equipment. Dealers then try to recover the costs of the trade-in to make a profit on the new equipment. This auction website offers the dealers as well as the original owners a place to dispose of their used equipment to list with no listing fee. Sellers pay nothing until the equipment is purchased. Sellers pay a 5% final value fee at the time of the transaction.

Listings typically have a duration of 180 days (although this can be extended if the item does not sell). Check it out here!
