CIVITAS™ Fungicide – changing the game

CIVITAS is a dramatic breakthrough in fungus control technology. Unlike traditional chemical fungicides, CIVITAS does not just kill fungus. It works in a whole new way, turning on the natural defenses of the turf to help fight off the fungus.

Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR)
CIVITAS is the only commercially available turf fungicide treatment designed specifically for the golf course industry that is based on a unique mode of action called Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR). CIVITAS' synthetic isoparaffin-based formulation triggers ISR in the grass to help fend off fungal attack. By entering the plant through both the leaf and root systems, CIVITAS triggers signaling molecules that spread throughout the plant and primes the genes that produce antimicrobial compounds. When fungus attacks, primed genes release the plant-protecting compounds which will either kill or inhibit the fungus.

Here’s How CIVITAS Works
Quick Re-entry
Short re-entry period means players can quickly get back on the course. And spraying can be done at any time of the day.

Broad-spectrum Control
CIVITAS provides broad-spectrum control for use on a variety of grasses, including Bent Grass, Rye Grass and Poa, controlling the primary fungi that affect your course:

  • Dollar Spot
  • Brown Patch
  • Spring Leaf Spot
  • Grey Leaf Spot
  • Fusarium Patch
  • Leaf Spot
  • Powdery Mildew
  • Grey Snow Mold
  • Pink Snow Mold
