Tru-Turf's history dates back to the 1940's when Ron Kaye made the first lightweight turf rollers. In 1978 Ron was invited to roll the Lawn Bowls Greens for the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton Canada. In 1989 Ron teamed up with Ray Dufty as Tru-Turf Equipment with the aim of becoming the foremost manufacturer of Golf Greens Rollers in the world.
Early this year Tru-Turf released three new products into the market during the Golf Industry Show in Anaheim.
- R52-11T Tri-Head Golf Greens Roller with key new features including a wider swath and three floating, patented triple offset smoothing heads.
- R52-ELT Tri-Head Electric Golf Greens Roller with 52" swath, three floating heads and the ability to roll up to 24 greens on a single charge.
- MT5000 Mower tote with dual towing capability, independent spring suspension and hydraulic mower raising and lowering cradle.
The flagship RS48-11C Roll ‘n’ Spike Golf Greens Roller by Tru-Turf is the culmination of 60 years design and development in the art of turf rolling. Our triple offset smoothing configuration allows this engineered product to smooth the turf by skilful design, not by weight.
 The RS48-11C is designed to roll your greens in any direction without line creasing. With a rolling swath of 48” (the only one in this class), a split smoothing head, finger-light steering, and the patented triple offset smoothing rollers, it is the only roller that produces the quality of surface finished desired, without compacting the green.
