The principle of ”time is money” applies now more than ever to professional turf care. Whether it`s sports grounds or golf courses you have to maintain, the amount of time you have at your disposal is becoming increasingly limited while the players place ever more exacting demands on the quality of the turf. Regular deep loosening and deep aerification are vital to healthy root growth. Breaking up compacted soil allows roots to penetrate more deeply into the soil and make better use of available water and nutrients. This improves water flow and the air budget of the soil, eliminates thatching and increases the shear strength of the grass.
 Wiedenmann introduced the new TerraSpike GXi HD deep tine aerifier in 2008 to complement Wiedenmann's advanced selection of deep tine aerification equipment. The TerraSpike GXi HD features the same innovative technology that is found in the TerraSpike XF (eXtra Fast) and the TerraSpike XD (eXtra Deep); however, the GXi HD is much lighter in weight and offers tighter hole spacing. The addition of counterweights on the crankshaft of the TerraSpike GXi HD will reduce vibrations and will increase dept penetration while substantially reducing noise. The GXi HD can be operated with a tractor as small as 30 hp at depths up to 10". The unique twin drive is offered with either a 385 rpm or a 485 rpm drive making it the fastest deep tine aerifier on the market.
 Whether it's sweeping, verticutting, mowing, or collecting grass and leaves, you will be impressed by the SUPER 500 from the first cut in Spring until Fall.
The Super 500 high dump is a heavy-duty sweeper/verticutter/flail mower collection system by Wiedenmann. The machine can be configured as a low cost solution to sweeping and collecting leaves, clippings, and other materials. The optional multi-purpose sweeper head allows for verticutting and flail mowing while collecting clippings into a 3.5 cubic yard hopper with a high dump reach up to 80". Verticut spacing ranges from ¾", 1 ½", or 2 ¼". A big advantage is the floating head, which follows contours. The multi purpose sweeper head allows sweeping without changing the implements, while the chute guides the dust towards the ground, thereby reducing dust to the operator. All hydraulic functions can either be operated by levers or by remote control from the tractor seat. Options include a golf course kit and floating axles for following undulated surfaces and to avoid scalping.
