TurfNet Superintendent of the Year 2009...
 The golf course superintendent makes the single greatest difference in turf maintenance at any course. Show your superintendent that you appreciate the work it takes to maintain your course by nominating him or her for Superintendent of the Year. The award, which is sponsored by Syngenta, is presented annually by TurfNet.
Course owners, general managers, professionals and members are encouraged to submit nominations. Nominations should include why you believe your superintendent is worthy of the honor. Be sure to provide specific examples of how he or she has gone above and beyond in maintaining your course.
Nominations can be made here by filling out the online form, by e-mailing
jreitman@turfnet.com, or by mailing the PDF nomination form to Superintendent of the Year, c/o John Reitman, 1500 Park Center Drive, Orlando, FL 32835.
Deadline for nominations is Dec. 1!
Finalists will be profiled on TurfNet.com. The winner and a guest will travel to Ireland for a week-long golf course tour, courtesy of Syngenta.
