Water is Nature’s transport system for delivery of all soil-directed fertilizers and chemicals. When infiltration is interrupted, both water and the soil-directed turf management materials it carries will sit on the surface or run-off to non-targeted areas. This can negatively impact the performance of applied materials, lead to lower than expected turf quality, and have a detrimental effect on the environment.

Attendees learned about surfactants as a tool to help stretch water supplies, how to do an irrigation audit, and how to get the most out of soil-directed applications.
