Steve Ventola and The Course at Sewanee

Tucked away on a rugged mountain in Tennessee is a very special golf course.  Like many courses from the early days of golf in America, The Course at Sewanee looks and feels like it could have been a setting in a golf fairy tale.

Renovated by Gil Hanse in 2013, Sewanee is in the exceptionally capable hands of golf course superintendent Steve Ventola.

We found the course almost too good to be real; rugged and natural, while running firm, fast and dry in the right places, it's in Steve's words, "a living work of art."

Check out our film on Sewanee and learn the secret that modern golf has been desperately searching for:  Nine holes.  Nine holes of fast, affordable, fun golf . . . on an enchanted golf course.

I was waiting to comment because I am such a huge fan of your work and thought that others would recognize you ability to put out something so beautiful, impactful and again leading edge of societal evolution. Well I am wrong once again, but the number of hits seems to be a good indicator of the power and awareness you bring to the turfgrass industry. Well done my friend once again!! I plan to contact Steve and bring my owner to see and play the course.
