CCC is a private club located in the suburbs of Crofton, about a 30 minute drive away both Washington DC and Baltimore.  Although built in 1964 CCC remains a challenging, yet fun course for all skill levels. CCC is in the process of completing a re-grassing of the fairways from the current cool season mix of Bent/Rye/Poa to Zeon Zoysia. We have completed 8/14 fairways and all the approaches from about 30-40 yards and in have been re-grassed to Zeon, including all par 3s. Last year we completed the remaining 3 fairways on the front 9 and we are planning to complete an additional 2 on the back 9 this summer. The Silo Club is a new 9-hole course in Nevada, Iowa 15 miles east of Ames.  Our number 1 goal at Silo Club is to be the “best 9 hole course” in America and will cater to a private, national, limited membership. The 2025 season will be entirely focused on the course construction.  The course will consist of bentgrass greens, tees, and fairways, with bluegrass rough, fescue on the outer edges and wildflower & native grasses waste areas.  The Silo Club sits on the site of the old Indian Creek Club, but everything is being built from scratch.  A new maintenance shop is just finishing up to house a new fleet of Toro equipment, a new clubhouse is in construction, and a new Toro irrigation and pump house will begin early this summer.  The Silo Club will have the highest of standards in course conditions.  This Assistant Superintendent will be an integral part of the course construction, and will be deeply involved in all phases including but not limited to, quality control of construction, grow-in, fertilization, mowing, irrigation audits and adjustments, and overall quality control.  The maintenance department will be responsible for overseeing the construction and irrigation installation, and will take sole responsibility from the final grading on.  The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Head Superintendent to build a staff throughout the year and into next spring. Halbert National Golf Club is an exclusive, newly constructed 18-hole facility designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio, located on the scenic shores of Lake Granbury. Construction was completed in Fall 2024, and the course is currently in its grow-in phase throughout the 2025 season.  We are currently seeking a dedicated and driven Assistant Superintendent to join our leadership team. This is a unique chance to be part of the grow-in process from the ground up, shaping the foundation of our agronomic programs and helping provide a truly exclusive experience. Our turf types consist of Tifeagle greens, Stadium Zoysia fairways, and Zeon Zoysia roughs. Our equipment lease is Toro with a Toro 2 wire irrigation system. The club is currently in the process of developing the club grounds and club house area, along with a new maintenance facility.
