Formed in 1916 when Doylestown featured mostly farms and about 1,600 residents, the original vision of Doylestown Country Club was crafted by five founders. They secured 71 acres of farm land that featured streams, ponds, rolling hills and surrounded by beautiful trees. William Flynn was brought in to design the original 9 holes in 1916.  In 1963, an additional 70 acres was purchased, and expanded to a full 18 holes. The nine-hole golf course is located at 6925’ elevation in a remote rural area on the upper Green River 20 miles south of Pinedale, Wyoming. The Golf Course Architect is Carl Thuesen and the par 36, 3652-yard design utilizes the Green River and its tributaries, natural wetlands, irrigation ditches, and 4 ponds to create a unique test of golf that is both challenging and playable for all golfers. Fall of 2017 consisted of sodding T1 bentgrass green and bluegrass tees and fairways along with seeding roughs to a fescue mixture. The Ranch is also in the process of constructing an additional 9 holes. Construction began on the ‘Moose 9’ in July 2024 with a projected completion date of November 2025. Pinedale is the gateway to the Wind River Range, Wyoming Range and the Jackson Hole Area, including Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Wyoming is an outdoors state with low property taxes and no state income tax. Both winter and summer outdoor recreation activities abound in a small-town atmosphere.

      Club Overview The Springhaven Club, founded in 1896, is an 18-hole private facility in suburban Philadelphia. The club sits on 110 acres and hosts an average of 25,000 rounds. Membership is strong, active, and very invested in their club. The golf course recently came off a two-year renovation which included the redesign of all bunkers, including capillary concrete, several significant green expansions, additional tee complexes, as well as some fairways expansions. Phase 1 of our driving range project was recently completed, with commencement of Phase 2 to be determined. A new irrigation system is in the design phase and is planned within the next 2-4 years. A Drainage Master Plan was recently submitted to the Club with phasing and implementation being considered.   Position Overview The Assistant Superintendent will work directly with the Superintendent and Lead Assistant regarding daily operations, staff management, water management, disease/pest scouting and spray applications, irrigation repair/scheduling, project planning/implementation, and inventory management.
