Position Summary The Assistant Superintendent will report directly to the Golf Course Superintendent and will assist them with the everyday maintenance of the club grounds and the golf course. This position will help supervise a maintenance staff of 10-16 employees and will also be responsible for performing skilled maintenance tasks as directed by the Superintendent. The CCH grounds staff takes pride in our level of work-life balance, and fully appreciates the level of commitment from the staff members. The candidate chosen can expect to work between 48-55 hours a week during peak season with the off season being usually no more than 40 hours per week. The nature of this job is very weather dependent, and thus these hours can vary. This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate who has prior supervisory experience in the golf industry. Position Responsibilities Schedule and assign work tasks for grounds crew members, supervise employees to ensure quality work is being performed. Train grounds staff on the operation of equipment while keeping safety at the forefront of any maintenance operations. Assist the Superintendent in the planning of future improvement projects to be completed both in-house and by outside contractors.
