Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ·         Assist in the development of the annual maintenance budget and operating plan.  Implement the plan according to Company operating policies and procedures to ensure cost containment. ·         Plan and implement staffing schedules to ensure quality standards are achieved at minimum employee cost. ·         Supervise and perform various maintenance duties to maintain the golf course in proper playing condition according to Company standards. ·         Supervise then development and maintenance of drainage, irrigation, pumping and water reservoir systems. ·         Supervise all planting, fertilizing and care of turf, plants, shrubs, and trees on the golf course and grounds. Assist with the development and implementation of a fertilizer, aeration and Integrated Pest Management program for proper turf grass and plant care. ·         Supervise course construction projects. ·         Supervise equipment maintenance and repair operations.  Establish and implement a cleaning and preventative maintenance program for appropriate equipment, tools, vehicles, etc. ·         Ensure maintenance of all appropriate quality and cleanliness standards including, but not limited to, employee hygiene and uniforms, equipment repair areas, equipment storage areas, chemical and fertilizer storage areas, receiving areas, washing areas, lunch room areas, restrooms, etc. ·         Monitor the purchase ordering and receiving program to maintain proper inventories of supplies and ensure proper quantity and price on all purchases. ·         Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, OSHA rules and regulations, relating to chemical and fertilizer storage and disposal, employee safety, public safety, etc. ·         Manage employment activities for applicable staff members, including but not limited to, personnel recruitment and selection, performance evaluations, training, compensation, discipline and termination, etc. ·         Maintain accurate records for pertaining to department activities including, but not limited to, labor schedules, course maintenance, construction activities, equipment repair, safety meetings and activities, fertilizer and chemical applications and pest control practices.  Assure the efficient and timely submission of all required operational, financial, budgetary and related reports. ·         Maintain knowledge of current and projected industry developments through continuous attention to industry periodicals and participation in relevant trade associations and organizations. ·         Perform other duties as appropriate. Isleworth Golf and Country Club is an 18-hole private facility located outside of Orlando Florida. We are number 13 on the Platinum Clubs of the America list. Home to many PGA, LPGA, and Senior Tour members, we pride ourselves in providing tournament conditions on a daily basis. We are currently in the process of replacing 90%of our equipment fleet.  The course underwent a total greens and bunker renovation, turf replacement of tees, fairways and rough, and implementation of naturalized areas to reduce turf and conserve water in 2024. We have plan to continue improvements to driving range and short game practice area. A brand new pump station was installed in 2021, and all irrigation lines were replaced with HDPE in this process as well as new Toro heads and controls for the system.   The position is designed to strengthen the candidate's skills and prepare them for advancement in the turfgrass industry. AIT will work closely with the superintendent and his assistants in all aspects of course maintenance. Areas of intense training will include chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation scheduling and maintenance, scouting, tournament and daily course preparation and routine maintenance. AIT has the opportunity to experience all aspects of a high-level maintenance operation with a staff willing to answer all questions and share valuable information. Qualifications: A 2 or 4 year degree in Turf Management is preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years of golf course maintenance experience. Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends. Help diagnose specific diseases and treat insects that affect critical areas of the courses. As well as identify and treat unwanted vegetation, using both preventative and curative methods. Spray prescribed amounts of fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide and fungicide when needed. Assist Superintendents with correct calibrations of all spray equipment. Maintain daily spray records. Must have or be able to obtain a Florida pesticide applicators license. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced team environment, with the understanding of the commitment it takes to maintain a premier golf course daily.  The AIT will be an important member of the turf management team and will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to advance their career in the golf course maintenance industry.

Metropolis Country Club was established in 1922. The original 18 hole golf course, designed by Herbert Strong, was later expanded when the noted golf architect A. W. Tillinghast redesigned the course. Scarsdale Golf Club is a private country club located in Westchester County, New York.  Established in 1898.   SGC offers an 18-hole A.W. The club opened in 2006 and has since hosted several PGA tournaments, including the Presidents Cup, the FedEx Cup playoff events and most recently hosted the inaugural LPGA Mizuho Americas Open in 2023 and will host the event again this May of 2025. Liberty National will also host the 2027 BMW Championship. Liberty National and Golf Course designer Tom Kite started a two-phase course renovation project in the fall of 2024 with the goal to reconfigure greens and tee box's to gain more pin and teeing surfaces. Also to reconstruct all the bunkers with Better Billy Bunker. Phase 2 will began in the Fall of 2025. The position will work closely with the management team to maintain the club daily to meet championship level conditions. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: pesticide and fertilizer calibration/applications; irrigation repair/operation, including proper moisture management; and supervising and assisting maintenance staff in daily duties. Wapika Ranch, a private working ranch and family retreat, is seeking a qualified full-time 2nd Assistant Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent. The existing nine-hole golf course is located at 6925’ elevation in a remote rural area on the upper Green River 20 miles south of Pinedale, Wyoming.  The Golf Course Architect is Carl Thuesen and the par 36, 3652-yard design utilizes the Green River and its tributaries, natural wetlands, irrigation ditches, and 4 ponds to create a unique test of golf that is both challenging and playable for all golfers. The Ranch also includes a Fishing Village, a Riding Arena, and a Children’s Barn along with extensive landscaping at each facility. The Ranch is in the process of constructing an additional nine-holes. Construction began on the ‘Moose 9’ in July 2024 with a projected completion date of November 2025. Pinedale is the gateway to the Wind River Range, Wyoming Range and the Jackson Hole Area, including Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.  Wyoming is an outdoors state with low property taxes and no state income tax.  Both winter and summer outdoor recreation activities abound in a small-town atmosphere.  Responsibilities: The 2nd Assistant, under supervision of the Golf Course Project Manager and the Golf Course Superintendent, will be involved in all advanced aspects of golf course construction and establishment of the new 9 holes. The 2nd Assistant will also be involved with the everyday operation of the existing golf course and grounds. After construction is complete, the 2nd Assistant will continue with the Golf Course Maintenance staff.  Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to monitoring the golf course construction specifications, fertilizer and chemical applications for establishing the new holes, and participating in operation and programming of the irrigation system.

Atlanta Athletic Club is a private 36 hole facility, located 25 miles North of Atlanta. Our charter as a private club dates back to 1898 when a group of young businessmen were looking for a place to enjoy indoor and outdoor athletics with their associates and friends. The original downtown club was located on Edgewood Avenue and through the ages twice outgrew its space and relocated. The Club added a golf course and country club at East Lake in 1915 and moved to the present Johns Creek location in the late 1960s. The club has been home to many great athletes, most notably Bobby Jones. The club has played host to multiple major events and most recently hosted the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. In continuation of this history, the Atlanta Athletic Club has also partnered with the USGA in order to host multiple tournaments in the future as well. Future tournament schedule includes: 2025 U.S. Girl's Junior, 2030 U.S. Amateur, and 2035 Women's Amateur Championship. In the beginning of January 2022, the Riverside course went through a complete rebuild and redesign, under the direction of architect Tripp Davis. The renovation included an all HDPE irrigation system, sand capping fairways and tees, drainage installation, and reshaping for the new design.
