The overall goal of the grounds crew foreman is to work closely with the superintendent of grounds to provide an overall outstanding golf experience for our members. With this goal in mind some of the tasks that will be required are as follows: · Assist in personnel management, supervising, evaluating, and scheduling practices of the work force. · Daily mowing of greens, approaches, tees, fairways and rough · Bunker maintenance including raking, edging and trimming · Line trimming and brush cutting around features of the golf course · Trimming around irrigation heads and range markers · Utilizing blowers to clean playing surfaces · Installation and maintenance of all annual and perennial ornamental gardens · Exhibit the ability to receive instructions and perform designated tasks while operating in a safe and efficient manner.

The Shop Foreman is responsible for providing day to day technical leadership to the technicians through positive mentoring tactics to include proper diagnostic and repair procedures as outlined in vendor service manuals. In conjunction with the team leaders: Conduct performance discussions with technicians on expectations and performance, ensuring they meet minimum performance expectations. Maintain a standard level of shop productivity through positive mentoring practices. Practice safe work habits and use personal protective equipment as required. Attend monthly TAC calls and follow up on open cases with vendors on a weekly basis. Performs other duties as assigned.
