Overview: Blue Water Landscape is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Install Foreman to join our team. The Landscape Install Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing landscape installation projects from start to finish. This role involves leading a team of workers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Foreman will coordinate with project managers, clients, and other team members to execute landscape designs, ensuring safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction. A strong South Florida horticulture knowledge coupled with a complete understanding of correct installation practices and principles is imperative to job success. Effective client interaction and subordinate delegation skills are imperative. Responsibilities: - Managing and overseeing all phases of landscape installation projects, including planning, execution, and final walkthroughs. - Leading and managing a team of landscape workers, training crew members on proper installation techniques, equipment operation, and safety aspects. - Overseeing the installation of trees and plant material, digging, banding and staking, installation of landscape edging, mulching, tear out and laying of new sod, tear outs of unwanted landscape material and tree relocations, etc. - Maintaining project schedules and completing landscape construction projects within deadlines and budget. - Ability to read and interpret landscape design plans. - Coordinating the equipment and materials needed for each project. - Inspect work for quality and compliance with design plans, industry standards, and client expectations. - Loading/unloading cargo, heavy equipment, and planting materials. - Safely operating equipment such as a loaders, skid steers, and excavators to perform landscape installation projects. - Commence installations in a neat, orderly, and safe fashion observing correct horticulture standards, practices and principles. - Oversee the use of equipment and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and safety protocols are followed - Monitor project progress, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and quality standards - Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety procedures - Maintain accurate records of project details, including materials used, hours worked, and expenses incurred.
