Turf Equipment Technician
Turf Products Corp is looking for Mobile service technicians. We currently have an open position. Come join our team!. We are looking for an individual for Western CT/ Westchester County NY. Individual must live in desired area.
We are looking for entry level to highly experienced.. Will train the right candidate
- Provide mobile service on Toro, Ventrac, and Foley golf & turf equipment at customer locations.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and making repairs on diesel and gas engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Coordinates with Mobile Service Manager or Service Manager to coordinate scheduling, parts ordering, and all aspects of the job
- Performs repairs, routine maintenance, warranty repairs, and customer training on products
- Efficiently orders parts to complete jobs
- Completes training programs required.
- Company vehicle, cellphone, laptop, uniforms, and tools provided
- Maintains current knowledge of Toro, Ventrac, and Foley products.
- Maintains mobile service truck, parts inventory, tools and equipment.
- Closes all work orders in a timely manner
- Helps service shop as needed..
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma required
Experience Requirements
- Turf equipment experience preferred
- Toro and Ventrac experience preferred
- Tier 4 experience preferred
- Ability to understand electrical and hydraulic schematics and troubleshooting
Special Requirements
Customer service skills required
Good Communication skills
Clean driving record
