Seasonal Intern
Hollywood Golf Club is home to a well renowned championship golf course designed by Walter J. Travis in 1917 and masterfully restored to its original intent by Brian Schneider and Renaissance Golf Design in 2014. The club has hosted numerous golf championships throughout our rich history at the State, Regional and National level. We are located less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean, in the town of Deal, located in Monmouth County, New Jersey.
Hollywood Golf Club is dedicated to providing students with a fully comprehensive internship. The grounds staff here at HGC takes great pride in providing pristine playing conditions for our membership, and we are looking for dedicated individuals who want to excel in the golf course industry. Interns will be trained in various different high level agronomic practices to maintain and improve a championship level golf course.
Interns will play a vital role in:
Chemical/fertilizer application and calibration
Stringent Water management
Daily course maintenance to provide championship conditions
Small crew management
Preparations for yearly membership tournaments
Scheduling meetings
Daily crew preparations
Drainage installation
Irrigation troubleshooting and repair
Educational Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Turfgrass Management Program or similar field of study.
Experience Requirements
