Superintendent-in-Training

Golf Course Superintendent.  Looking for an individual to train to replace retiring Superintendent in April of 2025.  This individual will work closely with  the retiring  Golf Course Superintendent in providing turf management, daily scheduling, and supervision of full time and seasonal staff in the operation and maintenance of Bell Nob Golf Course.  Maintain greens, tees, and fairways through proper mowing, weeding, fertilizing, application of herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, aeration, top dressing greens, trees, shrubs, landscape plants, and disease and insect identification.

Bell Nob is one of the top public facilities in the region with an 18 hole championship course and a 9 hole executive course.  Bell Nob has an aggressive tournament schedule each year and provides some of the top playing conditions in the Northern Plains.  Bell Nob is located in Gillette Wyoming on interstate 90  and sits between the Big horn mountains and the Black hills.

Educational Requirements

Two or Four-year degree in Turf Management.

Experience Requirements

3-5 years verifiable golf or turf related experience, with 1-3 years in a supervisory role.
