Founded in 1927 and located in Clarence NY, a suburb of Buffalo, Brookfield has been a home away from home for hundreds of members for several generations. As a family-oriented private country club, we recognize the importance of spending quality time with your friends and loved ones. Our Club is a premier private facility in the Western New York Region and is owned by member stockholders.

Designed by Canadian Architect, William Harries, the golf course spreads over 170 acres. The Club has served as host to such prestigious events including the 1948 Western Open won by Mr. Ben Hogan and the 1985 USGA Junior Boys Championship won by Mr. Charles Rymer.  Ben Hogan held the course record up until recent years.  Brookfield also held the #15 spot on Golf Digests best in state private club in 2021.   We have approximately 23,000 rounds/year typical golf season is mid April - October.  Grounds staff is made up of 2 assistants, 1 full time mechanic, Assistant mechanic, 2 horticulturists, and a staff of 15 April - October.

Brookfield Country Club, Inc. was incorporated on April 14, 1944, and is the successor to the Meadowbrook Country Club. As a member-owned club, golf membership is capped at 365 members to allow convenient play and easy access to the course. The Club is managed by a Board of 11 Directors, elected by the stockholders.

The club is currently in the middle of a full club house renovation which includes the addition of 2 golf simulators, fitness center, grotto area, wine cellar, and an extensive patio overlooking the back 9 with 5 fire pits.  The finished clubhouse will be overlooking the 18^th green.  Estimated finish date is February 2025.

Hours expected in season 40-50 hours / week weather dependent May - October

Hours expected during off season are held at 40 hours/week.  On call schedule for snow removal November - March
