Equipment/Shop Manager
The Moccasin Wallow Golf Club is looking for a Mechanic/ Equipment Shop manager to be a team member of our new crew. We have hired a new superintendent as well as an assistant superintendent and are looking for the third piece of the puzzle. We are a family owned and operated golf club that is looking to change our culture as well as give a great quality of life. For those with family, or looking to be a little more relaxed this is the job for you. We have John Deere equipment which is 4years old which we purchased from our original lease due to covid we were not going to wait 2 years for new Equipment to maybe come in. The Moccasin Wallow Golf Club is a Ted McAnlis Design located directly off I-75 and exit 229 in Palmetto Fl and has plans for 50,000 +/- homes being build within a 5 mile radius of the club. Educational Requirements
High school diploma/equivalent.
Technical school and other educational venues a bonus..
Experience Requirements
2-3 years experience as an Equipment technician at a golf facility.
Great working knowledge of John Deere equipment
Running a golf maintenance shop and experience with:
Reel grinding, small engines, hydraulics, electrical, maintaining a good PM program, good record keeping skills.
Maintain a clean and safe operation.
Special Requirements
Ability to keep personal life separate from work life. We want to make this a drama free facility.
