Waterview Golf Club

Waterview Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course located 12 miles east of Plano, Texas in Rowlett and is operated by American Golf Corporation.  Waterview Golf Club is 220 acres of maintained turf that includes a 3-hole practice center and driving range.  In 2019, Waterview Golf Club completed a full greens renovation with the installation of Tiff-Eagle Ultra-dwarf and a complete bunker redesign/reconstruction.

The Golf Course Superintendent is responsible for the product quality, agronomic management and daily maintenance of the golf course, clubhouse grounds and driving range.  As superintendent at Waterview Golf Club, you will be communicating directly with the General Manager and Regional Support Team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the golf course in proper playing condition according to Company standards
•  Ability and confidence to communicate challenges/issues quickly and accurately with Maintenance Team, General Manager, and Regional Support Team.
•  Implement the approved maintenance plan and adhere to the budget
•  Direct and supervise the maintenance of greens, fairways, tees, sand traps, bodies of water, roughs, maintenance shop and grounds, cart maintenance, and clubhouse grounds
•  Create and support a high-performance team while maintaining a positive, safe, and enjoyable work environment
•  Recruit, train, develop, and manage staff
•  Identify and address safety issues immediately
•  Conduct monthly safety meeting/training with maintenance staff
•  Maintain accurate records to track labor costs, maintenance expenses, projects, equipment repair, safety, and fertilizer, chemical, and pest control practices within city, state and federal guidelines
•  Identify, implement, and approve capital improvements
