Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is in search of a motivated, team-oriented individual with previous Golf Course Irrigation experience. This person will be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and repairs of the irrigation system.

Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years as a Golf Course Irrigation Technician.
• Responsible for the upkeep, repairs and maintenance of the irrigation systems.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the irrigation parts room and maintains inventory of the
• supplies.
• Assists Golf Course Superintendent with preventative maintenance of designated systems, including edging of irrigation and drainage systems.
• Replace or adjust sprinkler heads as needed to ensure even coverage and prevent dry or wet spots.
• Completes purchase orders and submits them to the Superintendent for authorization.
• Assists the Assistant Superintendent in managing the team members.
• Identify and repair leaks, clogs, and other system malfunctions promptly
• Demonstrates courtesy to all Members and guests at all times.
• Assisting with cleanup and pumping of water after large storms/hurricanes.
• Trains and supervises staff assigned to irrigation responsibilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Salary

• $20 - $21 per hour
