About:

            The Golf Club at Dove Mountain is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design course with 27 holes.  Former host of the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship: 2009-2014.  Located in Marana, Arizona just north of Tucson; the course is nestled at the base of the Tortolita Mountain Range. 

Job Overview:

            Equipment Manager reports to the Golf Course Superintendent and oversees all equipment associated with the golf course maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

·      Repair and maintain all golf course maintenance equipment.

·      Adjust and sharpening of cutting units with a strong emphasis on the highest quality of cut.

·      Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing small and large equipment, including gas and diesel engines and hydraulic systems.

·      Work closely with Golf Course Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to plan and coordinate repairs, adjustments and maintenance of all equipment to ensure availability for daily use on the golf course.

·      Budgeting, ordering of parts, maintaining inventory and organization of the maintenance shop.

·      Ability to weld.

·      Assist in the training and safe use of the equipment.

·      Regular monitoring of equipment’s performance.

·      Responsible for shop conditions. 

·      Development and execution of preventative maintenance program.
