Assistant Superintendent

Halbert National Golf Course is located in Granbury, Texas, just 30 miles southwest of Fort Worth. The town of Granbury is steeped in unique culture, Texas history and small-town hospitality. In the heart of Granbury is Lake Granbury, a long, narrow lake, encompassing 103 miles of shoreline that offers boating, fishing, swimming and other water sporting activities.

The course is in the final stages of construction and will have ownership rounds played this fall. The grassing plan consist of Tifeagle Greens, Stadium Zoysia Fairways, and Zeon Zoysia Roughs. 

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Superintendent to join our team. A successful candidate will assist in the management and maintenance of the golf course turf, ensuring exceptional playing conditions and a superior golfing experience for our ownership. The right person will be self-motivated and desire perfection daily. This position will play a key role in the grown-in of the property.

Responsibilities:

- Support the Superintendent in managing and supervising all aspects of golf course turf maintenance and operations.

- Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive turf management programs, including irrigation, fertilization, aeration, and pest control.

-Schedules, trains, supervises, and evaluates all personnel on staff.

-Assist in fertility and pesticide applications.
