Description of facility: Hickory Heights Golf Club is a semi-private facility located in Bridgeville, PA about 20 minutes from the center of Pittsburgh.  The course is a par 72 layout covering almost 6500 yards.  

Responsibilities:

Daily planning, scheduling and supervision of staff

Develop a staff consisting of people who want to work as team

Ability to calibrate sprayers and fertilizer spreader

Record keeping of all plant protectants and fertilizers

Maintain a safe and healthy working environment

Develop budgets that is consistent with management’s expectations

Associates, Bacheloly offer so this would be for you to fill in)

Start date:

Available immediately.

Develop capital expenditures projections as needed (equipment and projects)

Provide a working environment where people want to come to work and enjoy their work

Perform administrative duties as needed (payroll, maintenance reports, hiring paperwork of staff, etc)

Work with management to develop approaches to accomplish future goals of the property  or two year short course in Agronomy (or related field)

Experience:

At least 2 years experience as a lead or head Assistant Superintendent 

Posses or attain a Certified Pesticide Applicators License within 90 days of being hired

Salary and Benefit:

$70,000-$85,000  DOE
