Golf Course Superintendent

The Club at Cordillera is seeking applicants for our Valley course superintendent position. We are a 54-hole faciltiy the Central Rockies of Colorado with an extensive water delivery system we typically refer to as the "fourth golf course".
As a part of the leadership team the essential duties include:
- Preparing the course for winter
- Repairing the course after winter
- Onboarding and training a new staff in the spring
- Invoicing and Payroll mangement
- Developing new and existing assistant superintendents
- Working closely with the Equipment Mechanic
- Applying fertilizer and chemicals
- Troubleshooting and repairing irrigation - including a detailed Lynx software program
- Communicating with the other leadership staff via text and phone calls
- Operating and repairing the water delivery system
- Maintaining the established high level of course conditions
- Driving a culture of cleanliness and organization
Educational Requirements
2 year certificate or degree
Experience Requirements
- Winter turf managment
- Snow plowing
- Pump station operation
- Toro Lynx management
