Seasonal Intern
Hamilton Farm Golf Club is a premier, nationally renowned facility. We will be hosting both the "Ike" MGA Stroke Play Championship, and the NJPGA State Open Championship in the summer of 2025. The successful candidates will be exposed to all aspects of golf course maintenance at the highest level, while working alongside the turf management team, equipment managers, and crew. We take great pride in our ability to produce spectacular golf courses while still maintaining a great work/life balance.
Each intern's experience will be uniquely tailored to them based on their individual strengths and weaknesses with the overall goal of fostering the most professional development possible. They will be exposed to all facets of golf course maintenance including:
- Fertilizer and chemical calibration and application.
- Proper water management.
- Irrigation system maintenance, repair, and management.
- Small project management.
- Small crew leadership.
- Daily golf course setup.
- Tournament golf course setup.
- Networking and possible tournament volunteer opportunity.
Educational Requirements
Candidates should be currently enrolled in a turfgrass management or similar program.
Experience Requirements
While prior golf course experience is always preferred, none is necessary.
