Caves Valley Golf Club is an 18-hole, private golf only facility located in the rolling hills of Baltimore County, a 15 minute trip to the city. The Tom Fazio design has been consistently ranked as one of the top courses in the state and the Mid-Atlantic region.  Caves Valley Golf Club has hosted several events, including the 2002 US Senior Open, 2017 Constellation Senior Players Championship,2021 BMW Championship and The 2025 BMW Championship. 

Over the past 5 years Caves Valley has successfully completed a full course renovation including a new Toro two-wire irrigation system, 19 precision air units, a rebuild of all greens, tees, and  bunkers, newly seeded fairways, and a myriad of other projects to improve the experience for our membership. With the new infrastructure in place we look forward to the 2025 BMW Championship. AIT's will play a crucial role in the success of the upcoming event and gain first hand experience in all aspects of preparation for a PGA tournament.  

AIT's  will work in all areas of golf course management, including but not limited too, daily scheduling, hand watering, budgeting, chemical and fertilizer applications, and staff leadership. Candidates will be exposed to a variety of different techniques and strategies to successfully manage turfgrass in the Mid-Atlantic environment in addition to yearly tournament volunteer opportunities, educational seminars and classes, various in house projects, and team bonding retreats.
