Canyon River Golf Club (CRGC) is consistently ranked in the top ten courses you can play in Montana, and we are searching for an exceptional individual to join our agronomy team as the equipment manager to keep this tradition going. CRGC is a championship 18 hole public facility which is maintained at a very high standard. Located in East Missoula, we are in a valley surrounded by mountains and wildlife. The views and wonderful weather make this golf course a truly special place to be a part of.

Responsibilities under the direction of the superintendent:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance of all golf course and HOA equipment including light and heavy-duty vehicles, mowers, pumps, powered hand tools and other various shop equipment.
• Working knowledge of the theory, care, and operation of internal combustion engines.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair maintenance equipment including diesel/gas engines, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Prioritizing repairs and routine maintenance to achieve minimal disruption of daily course maintenance.
• Ability to weld and fabricate repairs as needed.
• Sharpening various blades and reels when needed to ensure a quality and consistent after cut appearance.
• Monitoring the performance of all cutting equipment.
• Keeping accurate and up to date records of equipment maintenance.
• Locating and procuring parts for repairs, while keeping an adequate on hand inventory of supplies.
• Communicating effectively with the maintenance department.
• Ability to make repairs in a variety of weather conditions when needed.
• Assist with training staff on proper use and care of equipment.
• Assist with maintenance practices on the golf course when needed.
• Occasional help with snow removal.
• Most importantly, taking ownership of the responsibilities with a positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

• Missoula, MT 59802: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
