Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily golf course maintenance and management under the direction of the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent.
• Safely and effectively apply fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf care products according to club standards and environmental regulations.
• Lead small teams in various golf course projects, ensuring high-quality execution and attention to detail.
• Maintain proper records for applications.
• Oversee staff when the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent is unavailable, ensuring efficient operation and team productivity.
• Contribute to the planning and management of course improvements and special projects.
• Ensure that all equipment is operated safely and maintained properly.
• Foster a positive work environment and maintain a professional, friendly demeanor with staff and members alike.

Qualifications:

• A passion for golf course maintenance and the game of golf.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in agronomy and leadership.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and work well in a team environment.
• Some experience with chemical applications, irrigation systems, or turfgrass management is preferred.
