Golf Course Superintendent

Reporting to the Director of Agronomy & Grounds, Atlantic Beach Country Club is looking for a dedicated and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to further elevate the conditions of our exceptional 18-hole Championship golf course. With a design by Erik Larsen, our par 71 course is renowned for its outstanding greens and excellent playing conditions. In this role, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals, ensuring that our ~65 acres of turf are maintained to the highest standards with a focus on details from edge to edge. This professional will be responsible for implementing agronomy practices, helping to manage an annual budget of $1.86 million, and support building a significant capital expenditure plan to enhance course conditions. As a vital leader at the Club, collaborate with the Director of Agronomy & Grounds to plan and execute course maintenance strategies, including upcoming renovations anticipated around 2029/2030. This professional should have expertise supporting the Club's commitment to providing an outstanding golfing experience, which hosts approximately 28,000 rounds annually and prestigious events such as the Epson Tour's Atlantic Beach Classic and Sea Best Collegiate Invitational.
