Seasonal Intern

The Seven Canyons Golf Club Agronomy Team is seeking two interns to join our team for the Spring/Summer 2025 season. Seven Canyons Golf Club is a private club located in Sedona, AZ surrounded by rugged red rock trails, walls, and canyons. The club is under new member-ownership as of April of 2022 and we have since completed the majority of our course renovations. Renovations to the club over the last two years include: construction of a new short game area, putting, chipping and nursery complex areas, tee renovation and grow in, complete bunker and irrigation renovation, new pump station, etc.  

Requirements:  

Students currently enrolled in a respected horticulture, agronomy or turf related program and field of study. Candidates will be responsible for performing typical internship duties including fundamental tasks related to caring for various parts of the property (i.e. the golf course, ponds, paths/trails, streets, trees, landscape and common areas).  Candidates should have the ability to perform labor-type tasks while also taking in as many learning opportunities as possible. Plant protectant and fertilizer applications, construction, renovation, grow-in, some supervision, grinding of reels and bed knives, setting up machines, record-keeping, working with other departments within the club, hand watering, irrigation and course setup are just a few of the things candidates will be exposed to and responsible for performing throughout the internship period. 

Assurances:    

Competitive hourly rate ($22.00/hr), provided housing, lunches, uniforms, full time work schedule including weekends, 40 hours / week ++.
