ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently looking for a full-time Spray Technician. This role is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of the golf course and grounds through pesticide and fertilizer applications and other labor-intensive golf course and landscape maintenance.
This key role is responsible for mixing and applying chemicals/pesticides such as herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors, soil incorporation or chemical application on all areas of the golf course. Our Spray Technicians must be able to identify weeds and diagnose plant diseases and problems; select and properly mix, prepare and apply the appropriate herbicide/insecticide to eliminate weed and ornamental plant problems.
We are looking for someone who is be able to diagnose specific diseases and treat insects that affect critical areas of the course as well as identify and treat unwanted vegetation, using both preventative and curative methods

- Current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator.
- Valid driver’s license
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Ability to operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment, including mowers, tractors and other power tools and equipment required for upkeep of facility.
Educational Requirements
High School/GED or equivalent
Experience Requirements
1 year minimum working on a golf course
