Job Title: Golf Course Mechanic
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to maintain a newer fleet of equipment at a high level.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf course equipment, including mowers, carts, and turf maintenance machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems to ensure timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with the golf course superintendent and maintenance staff to coordinate equipment needs for daily operations.
- Ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and is compliant with regulations.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of golf course facilities and landscape features as needed.
- Keep the workshop and storage areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Stay updated on advancements in golf course machinery and maintenance techniques.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably in the golf course or landscaping industry.
- Strong knowledge of small engines, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Wuskowhan Players Club is a exclusive private golf only facility nestled on 150 acres of pristine wooded land in West Olive Mi, near the shores of Lake Michigan. We’re passionate about preserving the traditions of golf and maintaining the natural sanctuary that surrounds us. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Golf Course Mechanic to join our maintenance team at Wuskowhan Players Club. The ideal candidate will have a passion for detail and a strong background in small engine repair and maintenance. This position is critical to ensuring that our golf course equipment is in optimal working condition, contributing to the overall quality of our facility. This position demands an exceptional individual, one who is able to communicate respectfully and effectively with team members, adapt to changing plans and who overall possesses a positive attitude toward others. These qualities are important to maintain the standards at Wuskowhan.
