Golf Course Superintendent

  Working with the Director of Golf Courses & Grounds, we are excited to begin the search for our SOUTH Course Superintendent. The South course is slated to open by the end of 2024 & designed by Mike Davis & Tommy Fazio, II. With elevation changes of nearly 60ft, this golf course will be unlike most in south Florida. The South course is complimented by a 55 acre, 360* driving range & short game area.
  APOGEE is a passion project presented by two highly successful businessmen, Mr. Michael Pascussi & Mr. Stephen Ross. APOGEE is currently in the construction phase with plans to construct three, 18-hole golf courses, two short courses, a Himalayas-style putting green & two driving ranges over 1200 acres. The West Course, designed by Gil Hanse & Jim Wagner opened in December of 2023 & construction of the 55+ acre driving range & South Course is nearing grassing completion. The main driving range encompasses over 55acres, has 360* of tee space, 7 acres of short game area & will be regarded as one of the finest practice facilities in the country. All courses will be blanketed with TifTuf turf & TifEagle greens. Rainbird IC irrigation will be utilized on all courses along with John Deere equipment.  The West Course Turf Care Facility is now fully operational & construction of the East Turf Care Facility has commenced with an opening date of late summer 2025. The club is also in the process of constructing 2 clubhouses, 50+ cottages, spa/fitness center & will also have fishing, tennis, walking trails & pickleball. 

  We are looking for a very talented, detail orientated, experienced turfgrass professional to assist & provide input to the South Course, but also all levels of the operation. This is an opportunity to be of part of something extremely special, unique to not only south Florida, but the private golf world.
