Seasonal Intern
Dedham Country and Polo Club is one of the oldest private country clubs in Massachusetts, DCPC has enjoyed a vibrant and active membership since its inception in 1887. The 18-hole golf course, designed by famed golf course architect and engineer Seth Raynor. The replica holes Raynor designed draw on the strategic principles of famed golf holes such as the Redan, Alps, Punchbowl, Eden, Short, and Biarritz, among others. Dedham Country and Polo Club is a very family-oriented club in a highly desirable part of the Boston suburbs. Dedham has hosted numerous Championship over the years. DCPC has many other activities to offer the membership, including trap shooting, ice hockey, tennis, paddle ball, and cross-country skiing.
Job Description
Dedham Country and Polo Club is seeking a seasonal turfgrass Intern that is a self-motivated, team-oriented individual, to join our Grounds Staff. As an intern at Dedham Country and Polo Club you will participate in a diverse range of activities involving every aspect of daily golf course maintenance and numerous course improvement projects. Including, pesticide applications, top dressing, hand watering, golf course setup and supervising small crews. You will work closely with and report to the Golf Course Superintendent, and Assistant Superintendents.
Educational Requirements
Enrolled in a Certificate or Degree program from an accredited establishment relating to Turf, Agronomy, or Horticulture.
Experience Requirements
2-3 years of golf course experience preferred.

-Self-motivated individuals with a positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
-Ideal candidates will possess a strong desire to advance within the golf course industry.
-Able to perform physical demands of the profession.
