Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team at Crossroads (2 positions) or May River (1 position). Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will play a key role in maintaining the overall quality and playability of our courses. This position requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for golf course management.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist in managing daily operations of the golf course, including course set-up, maintenance, and scheduling.

·       Supervise and train maintenance staff in accordance with golf course standards and safety guidelines.

·       Monitor course conditions and implement maintenance programs to ensure optimal playing conditions.

·       Oversee irrigation systems and water management practices to maintain turf health and water efficiency.

·       Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent to develop and execute annual maintenance plans and budgets.

·       Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements related to golf course operations.

·       Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance course management and operations.

·       Encourage an open communication environment where team members are encouraged to share ideas and provide feedback on improving operational efficiency and course conditions.

·       Assist in the procurement and inventory management of equipment, supplies, and materials.

·       Participate in special projects and renovations as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent.

·       Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and professional development.
