About Us: Lily Lake is a premier 9-hole executive golf course located in Central Florida dedicated to providing an exceptional golfing experience for players of all skill levels. We pride ourselves on maintaining a beautifully landscaped course that is both challenging and enjoyable.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated working Golf Superintendent to lead our course management team.   The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of course maintenance ensuring high standards of playability, appearance, and environmental stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily maintenance of the golf course, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
  • Help develop and oversee the annual budget for course operations.
  • Hire, train, and supervise grounds crew staff, scheduling work effectively to meet course demands.
  • Monitor and maintain the irrigation system for efficient water use.
  • Interact with golfers to gather feedback and enhance their experience on the course.
  • Supervises and participates in the application & recording of chemical applications (fertilizers andpeslicides) on the Clubs grounds in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • Promote sustainability and environmentally friendly practices in course management.
  • Works closely with the Board of Directors to operate the Golf Course in a fiscally responsible and professional manner.
  • Supervising the operation, maintenance  and repair of all equipment assigned to the course
  • Procuring and managing supplies and materials to support maintenance activities.
  • Manage golf course employees including interview, hire, train, discipline, and separation.

Educational Requirements

Skills and Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A degree in turf management, horticulture, or a related field is  preferred.
  • Certifications: Certified or licensed for pesticide usage
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff and customers effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues related to course maintenance and management

Experience Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping is essential.
