Turf Equipment Technician

Equipment Technician at Standard Country Club. Looking for candidates that have a combination of experience and technical training through professional development courses or a technical training degree/certificate program. Technician is expected to provide their own general use tools, but specialty tools or equipment will be provided as needed. Skills needed include a working knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke gas engines, diesel engines, electric motors, hydraulic systems, drivetrains, and electrical systems. Basic welding experience with a multiprocess welder. Other areas of responsibility include purchasing, record keeping and maintaining a safe and organized shop. 

• Experience as a golf course maintenance technician, automotive technician, heavy equipment technician, or similar field
• Proficiency with 2-stroke and 4-stroke gas engines, diesel engines, electric motors, hydraulic systems, drivetrains, and electrical systems
• Basic welding skills with a multiprocess welder
• Technical training through professional development courses or a technical training degree/certificate program
