Spray/Applications Technician

Native Grasses is a rapidly growing lawn service company on the beautiful island of Nantucket.  The company is currently looking for a qualified applicant with a background in golf course maintenance and/or landscape.  
Requirements:

-Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and walk several miles in a day

-Cat. 37 applicators license (MA) or ability to obtain license within 6 months of hire

-Drivers license in good standing 

-Background or prior work experience in the turf/landscape industry 

-Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Native Grasses offers competitive year round salaries with seasonal operation (March through October) with approximately 4 months paid time off.  In season, work weeks are normally 40-45 hours Monday through Friday with the occasional Saturday if necessary. Our higher end clientele and landscape groups demand the attention to detail and results that parallel the golf course industry.  This requires the successful applicant to be prepared (physically and mentally) for a demanding in-season schedule.
