Seasonal Intern
Brook Hollow Golf Club
Summer Internship
Brook Hollow Golf Club, founded in 1920, is one of the preeminent private member-owned golf clubs in the southwestern United States. Brook Hollow has hosted significant golf tournaments, including multiple Trans-Miss championships, the USGA Mid-Am, and many USGA and Texas Golf Association championships/qualifiers. This July, we will Co-Host the U.S. Junior Amateur with Trinity Forest Golf Club.
In 2020, Brook Hollow completed a golf course renovation to restore the original A.W. Tillinghast design characteristics from the 1920s. The project included a new Toro 2-wire irrigation system. Fairways, tees, and roughs were all resurfaced with Tahoma 31 Bermudagrass. The greens are 7-7-7 bentgrass with sub-air and hydronic systems to control sub-surface temperature and air/gas exchange. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to learn turfgrass management using state-of-the-art technologies.
We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented individual interested in sharpening their skills to become an assistant superintendent. The chosen individuals will be involved in all aspects of golf course maintenance, including but not limited to the following:
