2nd Assistant Superintendent
Metedeconk is a Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed golf club located in Central New Jersey. One hour drive to New York City or Philadelphia and 20 minutes to the Jersey Shore. The 27 hole golf course is situated on 600+ acres and also boasts one of New Jersey’s largest practice facilities.
We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual dedicated to the field of turf management.
The 2nd Assistant will work closely with the Superintendent and Assistants to provide the very best conditions possible for our membership. The 2nd Assistant will take part in crew supervision, pesticide / fertilizer applications, irrigation repair, course set-up, syringing, and record keeping. 
Educational Requirements
2 or 4 year Turf degree from accredited University.
Experience Requirements
A minimum of two seasons experience as an intern at a high profile club.
Special Requirements
Must possess an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, strong leadership skills and knowledge of the game. Ability to communicate with Assistants, Superintendent, Membership and Clubhouse Staff to ensure the success of the maintenance operation. Must have strong desire to become a superintendent and work long hours to provide the membership with tournament conditions daily.
