As an Assistant Superintendent, you will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and other Assistant Superintendents to ensure our course meets the highest standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to providing our members and guests with an exceptional golfing experience. Educational Requirements
While a formal education is valuable, we prioritize passion, work ethic, and a commitment to excellence above all else. Our ideal candidate will have:
- Preferred: A 2- or 4-year degree in a Turfgrass-related field.
- Considered: Applicants with degrees in other disciplines, provided they have relevant golf course work experience.

Experience Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Experience and Expertise: At least 2 years of experience working on a golf course, demonstrating the ability to maintain turfgrass at the highest level. Proven success in training and motivating staff to perform tasks efficiently and with excellence.
- Leadership Skills: A hands-on leader who can inspire, mentor, and guide the team toward achieving shared goals. Strong interpersonal skills are essential to foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Commitment to Excellence: A strong sense of ownership and dedication to providing the best possible golfing experience for our members and guests every day.
- Proactive Decision-Making: The ability to follow instructions while independently identifying and prioritizing tasks that need to be completed.

Special Requirements
Required Licenses and Skills
- Must have or obtain a Florida Restricted Use Pesticide (RUP) license within 90 days of employment.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, both verbal and written.
- A demonstrated ability to lead by example with a strong work ethic.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- A team-oriented mindset, problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to make decisions that enhance daily operations.
