Wapika Ranch, a private working ranch and family retreat is seeking a qualified full-time Assistant Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent. The nine-hole golf course is located at 6925’ elevation in a remote rural area on the upper Green River 20 miles south of Pinedale, Wyoming. The Golf Course Architect is Carl Thuesen and the par 36, 3652-yard design utilizes the Green River and its tributaries, natural wetlands, irrigation ditches, and 4 ponds to create a unique test of golf that is both challenging and playable for all golfers. Fall of 2017 consisted of sodding T1 bentgrass green and bluegrass tees and fairways along with seeding roughs to a fescue mixture. The Ranch also includes a Fishing Village, a Riding Arena, and a Children’s Barn along with extensive landscaping at each facility. The Ranch is also in the process of constructing an additional 9 holes. Construction began on the ‘Moose 9’ in July 2024 with a projected completion date of November 2025.

Pinedale is the gateway to the Wind River Range, Wyoming Range and the Jackson Hole Area, including Teton and Yellowstone National Parks.
