Seasonal Intern

SODCO INC is one of the largest sod farms in the Northeast, located in Slocum, RI. The only green certified sod farm in RI, we grow Turf Type tall fescue, Microclover, Kentucky Bluegrass, Greens and fairway height creeping bentgrass, fine fescue, sheeps fescue and many other crops on our 526 acres. We ship from Maine to New York, and supply many garden centers, golf courses, colleges, and homes with high quality sod all year.

Interns will get a full experience of all sides of the sod business including seeding, growing, harvesting, sales, shipping and maintenance. This position requires a self starting individual, who can operate as part of a team with high expectations and efficiencies. The correct candidate will spend time working with each part of our operation, and learn what it takes to be the best.
