Seasonal Intern

Evanston Golf Club is currently searching for a seasonal intern/AIT for the upcoming 2025 golf season. Located 10 minutes north of Chicago, Evanston Golf Club is a fully private, full service club covering 150 acres in Skokie, IL. This past season we underwent a renovation including USGA (007XL) Greens, 2-Wire Rainbird Irrigation System with Flowtronics Pump House, Re-grassing of Fairways and Tees (007XL) along with New Drainage and Sand in our bunkers.

Job Description:

Interns will be involved in all aspects of daily golf course maintenance including some of the following, but not limited to:

·         Walk mowing greens

·         General upkeep of all grounds

·         Course setup (cutting cups, tee markers)

·         Hand watering greens

·         Equipment operation

·         Be involved in daily/ weekly planning 

·         Irrigation troubleshoot and repair

·         Disease and drought scouting 

Most importantly, this is a great year to join our team as we will be wrapping up our grow-in this spring and early summer. This will be an excellent opportunity for an individual to learn and build their resume for future endeavors in the industry.
