Assistant Superintendent
Assist in the planning, organizing and directing the maintenance, improvements and employees at the 36-hole Golf and Learning Center.
Educational Requirements
- Associates degree or certificate in turf grass management or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Experience Requirements
- At least four years of experience in golf course maintenance.
- Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Must possess and maintain a valid pesticide applications certification.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays during the season.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University’s insurance carrier.
