Trump National features two extraordinary courses in an idyllic setting along the Potomac River. A magnificent 36-hole private club in northern Virginia that’s home to two compelling 18-hole layouts. The course served as the challenging, eye-catching host to the 2017 KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship, won by two-time Masters Champion Bernhard Langer, the Number 1 Senior player in the world. The club also had the privilege in hosting the 2013 Junior PGA Championship and the 2023 LIV Golf Tournament. Future tournaments are in the works! The Championship Course renovation was acknowledged as the third best by Golf Digest in 2016 and one of the top courses in the state of Virginia. We unveiled a brand new practice facility last summer, providing our members with one of the best in the industry. The Riverview Course is equally challenging, with Fazio-and Hills-crafted holes that embrace lakes, woods and wetlands. A sumptuous 50,000-square-foot clubhouse, perfect for special occasions with its breathtaking views of the Potomac River, a magnificent indoor tennis complex with five championship courts, cutting-edge aquatics and fitness facilities form a powerful draw for families. Along with a constant commitment to improving this amazing club, the Trump Golf Portfolio continues to grow. New developments are being added all over the world.
Educational Requirements
Two or four year degree in Turfgrass management, a turf certificate or related field. Recent or soon to be graduates welcomed. Must be able to obtain Virginia Pesticide license within 90 days.
Experience Requirements
We are looking to add a team oriented individual with a passion for the game of golf and course management. Some major improvements and professional tournaments are in the works! The club is very proactive in it's efforts to provide the very best for it's membership. We have been very fortunate to have several Assistants move onto great Superintendent roles. This will continue to be our goal. The network of experienced Superintendents within Trump Golf is a great asset to have. Our goal is to prepare our Assistants for a Superintendent role within the Trump Golf Portfolio or any other great golf club.
The renovation work will include:
* New irrigation system
* Bunker renovation
* Redesign and construction of a golf hole
Tournament experience:
* LIV - Trump Doral April 2025
* Volunteer local PGA events
Expectations/conditioning are a very high priority. The same priority is emphasized on work life balance and a enjoyable work environment.
Special Requirements
* Maintain a positive attitude, professional manner and appearance
* Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties with minimal supervision
* Computer skills to include proficiency with word and spreadsheets.
* Strong work ethic and focused on career goals.
* Sharp attention to detail.
* Team oriented, willing to listen, present ideas, and lead
* Moisture management with Rain Bird knowledge a plus.
* Properly calibrate, apply, and log pesticide applications
* Ensures that maintenance equipment is properly maintained and safely operated
