2nd Assistant Superintendent
Wapika Ranch, a private working ranch and family retreat, is seeking a qualified full-time 2nd Assistant Golf Course and Grounds Superintendent. The existing nine-hole golf course is located at 6925’ elevation in a remote rural area on the upper Green River 20 miles south of Pinedale, Wyoming. The Golf Course Architect is Carl Thuesen and the par 36, 3652-yard design utilizes the Green River and its tributaries, natural wetlands, irrigation ditches, and 4 ponds to create a unique test of golf that is both challenging and playable for all golfers. The Ranch is in the process of constructing an additional nine-holes. Construction began on the ‘Moose 9’ in July 2024 with a projected completion date of November 2025.
Pinedale is the gateway to the Wind River Range, Wyoming Range and the Jackson Hole Area, including Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Wyoming is an outdoors state with low property taxes and no state income tax. Both winter and summer outdoor recreation activities abound in a small-town atmosphere.
