Assistant Superintendent
About us:
Established in 1899, La Grange Country Club (LGCC) is one of the earliest established clubs in the greater Chicago area. The club began as a 9-hole course designed by architect Herbert J. Tweedie and relocated to its current location in 1913, expanding to 18 holes with design contributions from Thomas Bendelow and William B. Langford. LGCC has a proud history of hosting notable tournaments, including the U.S. Women's Open in 1974 and 1981.
In the Fall of 2024, the course underwent a major renovation led by architect Drew Rogers, This transformative project has modernized the course while respecting its historical roots, and we are excited to reopen for play on Memorial Day of 2025. LGCC is a place where history meets innovation, offering members and guests an exceptional golfing experience.
