Cattail Creek Country Club is a private, member-owned club situated equidistant to Baltimore, Washington DC and Frederick. Cattail is a family-oriented club that continues to make capital investments in the property, including a $6m+ clubhouse renovation completed in 2021. Memberships include golf, social and dining with more than 600 total members.

The Golf Course was designed and built in 1993 by Willard Byrd and features bentgrass greens, tees and fairways and a mixture of ryegrass, kentucky bluegrass and tall fescue rough. Equipped with a Toro irrigation system and strong equipment fleet.

Educational Requirements
2- or 4- year Degree in turfgrass management or currently enrolled in an online turf program
Experience Requirements
The Head Assistant Superintendent should be a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude and passion for the turf industry and game of golf. The ideal candidate must be strong in team environment dynamics, able to efficiently manage and prioritize daily tasks, and have a keen attention to detail. Communication and organizational skills are crucial to the role.
The position will be intricately involved in all agronomic, financial and personnel planning and prioritizing efforts with a goal of development for a career path of success.
